A note from the instructor on Skill Level and Horse Age.
"Let me answer this with a simple yes he is old enough. I often have colts in my clinic that are too young to break right along with 25 year olds. It is just as effective to ride the horse through the clinic as it is too walk them (through), although riding would be the way to go in your case. This is not difficult on the your horses body nor does it take a lot of riding skill. This is a training of both yours' and your horses mind. You will learn not only why your horse is spooking, you'll know what to do about it and further how to solve the problem in the future with this or other horses"

Hi Patrick and Cindi, thanks for hosting this event. I would first like to say that your barn was very clean and orderly and most of all safe. I had an easy time with parking and the conference room was accommodating and WARM! I felt that there was plenty of room for the people who participated to move around freely. I would be happy to attend another clinic should you put one on. Hope to see you again, Shelley and Bella

Thanks for all your hard work, the clinic was fun, your facility was fantastic, and Bill's a hoot! I would highly recommend the course-it was a fun weekend. Thanks for being great hosts!

I wanted to send you and Cindi a note, to tell you what an amazing experience that was, and how impressed I was with the professional job you did and how great the place looked. I have never been to a clinic before, but I have been to LOTS of meetings and presentations and was very impressed. The communication before was super helpful, the registration process was easy, the facility and obstacles were great!

Thank you for hosting this awesome event. A lot of work and preparation goes into all the details and personalities you have to deal with. When I was on the road heading home with Herman in the trailer my one repeated thought was "WOW" I can not believe what we both just went through and what a huge mentally-filled, bonding and appreciating my horse weekend and we both survived still in breathing form."
Because I have not been to anything of this nature, I thought in the whole clinic was FABULOUS, great host, great people and great clinician. Looking forward to auditing this next weekend and taking pictures for my family and friends to see how awesome Herman and the event was.THANK YOU AGAIN.
P.S. Please let Mr. Richey and Pete know they both were fantastic.

In my opinion the clinic was a great success. With all the horses there it could have been easily chaotic, but the whole clinic went very smooth because all riders cooperated so well. You got a great facility with enough space (inside and out incl. trailer parking) that you can easily take on such event.
I certainly learned a lot and gained more confidence, so did my horse. This is exactly what we needed to advance to the next level and I am very grateful that you guys offered this clinic and even offered to trailer my horse! Without that I would not have been able to attend. I think participating in another clinic can only bring us further in the right direction. I am certainly not where I need to be in regards to my confidence level but it can only get better from here on. Thanks so much for all your assistance during the clinic, giving me pointers and helping me to "breathe". . ... Please sign me up for the next clinic in February as I am already looking forward to it.
Thanks, Kerstin
Hello
I thought the clinic was great. Just the types of things I like to do with my horse, so I was able to expand on these things. Really liked the screaming, flashing police car. Never know when you might have to take your horse out of the trailer somewhere because of an accident. Emergency or patrol vehicles arriving on the scene, all flashing and sirens blaring. At least my horse will now have exposure to that. Fire and smoke...its all good.
I like the way Bill teaches. I enjoyed his straight forward attitude. He's relaxed, humorous and supportive of the participants, both human and equine. I would do another clinic instructed by Bill
As for your facility...Excellent!! The arena is large enough for all the horses and obstacles. The kitchen/meeting area is warm and cozy. Lots of parking for rigs. You and Cindi couldn't be nicer or more accommodating to us participants. You two worked your buns off to make sure this clinic was successful. To me your efforts showed. I appreciate all that you did for us.
I would attend other clinic events that you may have in the future.
I thank you for sponsoring the De-spooking clinic and having Bill extend to us his skill and experience. Our horses and us as riders will benefit everyday from this experience. Thanks again. It was a fun time
